THE VINEYARDS
Le Vigne di Roberto’s vineyards are located on the slopes of San Giorgio di Perlena hills, in the province of Vicenza. The border between Breganze and Fara Vicentino runs among the vine rows of the winery, thus making Le Vigne di Roberto’s vineyards a borderland.
However, Le Vigne di Roberto winery also represents the enthusiasm and dynamism of the latest winemaker who arrived in this area, a land rich in history and talents. The border is also a symbolic boundary that has to be crossed in order to improve and innovate. Roberto Benazzoli wishes to revitalize and modernize the area of Breganze, raising it to a great terroir for sparkling wines.
GRAPES, OLIVES AND PROJECTS
Le Vigne di Roberto’s vineyards are located in one of the best, and most envied, areas of DOC Breganze, on the slopes of Monte Goggio on San Giorgio di Perlena hills. Here, Roberto Benazzoli cultivates his 3.5-hectare vineyard. A little farther, there is another 1-hectare vineyard rented by Le Vigne di Roberto. The cultivated grape varieties are Vespaiola, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Cabernet Franc. Moreover, there are also 200 Leccino and Frantoio olive trees. Therefore, in a few years, it will be possible to produce an exquisite extra virgin olive oil.
